This is not a direct answer to your direct question but I hope it may 
contribute to you getting the correct timing. It's a reply from June 
2004 to a question asking about hte correct dwell for a tr3 engine.

The Texaco Service guide I have on the wall of my garage says 57-63..you've
nailed it at 60..:)
