Actually the gas (petrol) tanks of the series grew smaller as the years and
models passed.
The TR2's was 15 U.S. gallons (57 litres)
The TR3's 14.4 (54.7 litres)
TR4 14.1 (54 litres)
TR250 and TR6 13.5 (51 litres)
The above TR3 data may be for the later, post TS60,000 cars. I recall the
capacity of TS21130L as being 14.7 gallons. Did 450 miles on a tank of gas,
top and side curtains in place, one cold winter day a long time ago.
