Many thanks to those who contacted me off list following my recent request for
help for Nick Black.
I had an email from Nick today. In it, he informs me that contrary to his
long-held belief that his
half-sister emigrated to the U.S. as a child, it never came to pass. While
emigration was certainly
the urgent intention of her mother after her divorce from John Black, the
daughter died at an early
age in the UK. Thanks again guys for your replies.
