While you are rooting around the shocks, check to see that they are tightly 
mounted. One of mine used to work its way loose. I used longer bolts with 
nylocs to solve that. Also, make sure there isn't a broken shock. One of mine 
broke a mounting ear, and of course, that made a clunk.
