I'm confused, because that number you quote points to a 1965 model...an
early TR4A solid rear axle car. The TR4A series started with CT50001 or
CTC50001  (CTC were the more common IRS cars). Also, the initial "5" is
something
often  physically added to the commission number plate by Canadian
authorities to indicate a model year.
