It has always been my understanding that the Main Beam is the Bright or high
beam setting. The alternative is dipped beam.

Subject: [TR] hi-beam questions.

Recent mail has made me question something

Looking at the wiring diagrams I have seen, they show a high-beam indicator
light. My car has a "main-beam" indicator light. Is the main beam the high
beam or the low beam? I would think low beam

Thanks,

Jeremiah
