I'm not that familiar with K & N, since I use mostly ITG filters.
But from what I recall installing new K & Ns on customer cars
at Bailey's they do not come preoiled.
The filter oil has a red tint to it, you should be able to tell
whether a filter is dry or oiled by looking at the color. White
means dry element, pink means oiled.
