John,
Interesting subject in general, I have often wondered how many of our older
models are still in roadworthy cognition.  And, how would someone ever go
about assembling that 
data.

As it was a (usually reliable) club source that told me of the known number
of 'runners', I would assume the club knows better than me of the flotsam
and jetsam that's stillB floating around out there - or are enthusiasts
expected to be clairvoyant of what still exists and where it can be found?
