Thread-topic: [TR] Different (less stressfull?) route to Triumphest...
Business takes me to LA on a regular basis and I rarely travel on the freeways.
I haven't driven on the PCH as far south as Dana Point, but I have driven it
from LAX to past Malibu. As in most cases in LA, traffic depends upon the time
of day but if you avoid the traditional rush hours it keeps moving. I actually
enjoy driving on city streets there because LA is such a unique city with so
much to see, even in the neighborhoods, in the way architecture, people, and
some surprising areas of natural beauty. Take your GPS, and take the road less
followed. Oh, and play some Steely Dan and some America ("Ventura Highway",
for sure) on the stereo.
