Yup....the dash comes all apart.... the crash pad =E2=80=9Cvinyl =
flaps=E2=80=9D get inserted behind the metal dash.... As I recall, you =
even have to loosen the metal dash to install the pads. Same goes for =
the top dash pad which goes under the windshield frame and behind the =
metal dash.

I was going to quickly replace the lower driver side fascia for a 1974 =
TR6; however, I cannot believe that, according to the service manual, =
you must take apart almost the entire dash.=20
Anyone know an easier way?
