Sure can, with catastrophic results. Driving back from TRF=E2=80=99s =
Summer Party a few years back, I was driving my TR4 and my wife was =
driving her TR6. Fortunately, she knew to regularly monitor those gauges =
and as we switched from Hwy 403 to Hwy 401 (our version of the =
Interstates), she saw the oil pressure drop to =E2=80=9C0=E2=80=9D. She =
immediately signalled for me to pull over. A check revealed the source =
of oil loss. Topped it back up with a few litres of oil and by the time =
we drove to the garage (less than two miles away), the oil had =
completely emptied again.

driveway=E2=80=A6 Sigh=E2=80=A6 I thought at first, that the oil pan =

pressure switch however (Moss 760-200, 3-lead switch), is pretty wet =
with oil, now that I=E2=80=99ve returned from a short, 10-mile drive. =
Not to sound too terribly naive but, do oil pressure switches leak/give =
up the ghost like that? Anyone else have that problem?
