Siata in Road and Track?

The guy who owns local auto upholstery shop says he owns the Siata which he was 
told appeared on
front cover of Road and Track, one of the 1955  issues he believes.
He says it has a Corvette engine, and he has owned it since the '60s.

Does anyone have the R&T with the Siata on the cover?, perhaps the month can be 
tied down, then
perhaps he can buy a copy somewhere.
A scan of the front cover would be cool too.
