Smoke & Mirrors Racing is planning an East Coast Tour for the Fall of 2002.

We want to experience Road Atlanta and VIR for sure , but it looks like
Savannah and Summit Point may be on the same weekend. Which should we choose
?

BRUCE -
By all means, try to get to VIR. Volumes have been written about this track
both on this list and vintage publications so I won't go into details,
suffice it to say, the track itself, the facility, and the staff all add up
to one class operation and a legitimate claim to the premier facility on the
East Coast (and maybe the entire country . . . .). One event not mentioned
so far (for the Fall) is the SVRA-sanctioned event at Summit Point on Oct.
4-7. This is a great event at an interesting, challenging, historic track.
Check out www.svra.com and the Blue-Grey Challenge.

There isnt much vintage racing after Watkins Glen here in the northeast, I
would like to make the trip south maybe to VIR, any suggestions for an event
that would be worth the drive in seat time and fun?
