Lotus Europa Info

Does anyone on this list race a Lotus Europa or know someone who does?  If
so, which version?

I am considering one as a project, but I can't find much evidence of active
vintage racing Europas. Lots of autocrossers, but few racers ... could there
be a reason for that?
