I put a panhard rod in my 67 Datsun 2L vintage racer. I used the Competition
Engineering Panhard rod from the Summit catalog. It comes with everything
you need to make the rod and mount it. You will have to do some welding
during a normal installation. However, after looking it over I decided that
the frame mount would probably deform the frame walls under load so I beefed
up that mount to spread the load more evenly across the frame walls. I also
had to fabricate a plate that I mounted under the axle. I have pictures if
you would like to see them. I also mounted the rod so it is at the same
height as the axle center and runs the full width of the car which gives the
minimum amount of body shift under suspension travel.

Here is a web site you might want to look at to get some ideas on the theroy
and effects on the roll center.

Hope this helps. I'm pleased with the way the car handles. Very predictable
with no surprises in heavy cornering. I really enjoy the ride.
