I had a Phantom Grip in my MG Midget that I used this past weekend. I
hated it so much that I yanked a welded rear end out of a sidelined
Midget and replaced the one with the Phantom Grip for the last race day.

Damn thing was just too squirrelly and unpredictable. The welded rear
end was much easier to deal with, except it makes the car hard to push
around in the Paddock.

They might be OK for street use, but I didn't find it of any benefit on
the track.
