Us crazy Americans still run these races.  :-)  There is a half mile asphalt 
oval track a few miles from me where they run Outlaw Sprint cars, modifieds, 
and a bunch of other classes.  Inside the oval is a figure-8 track.  This 
Friday they are running a trailer race on the figure-8.  They normally race 
school buses or run chain races (two cars chained together) on the figure-8, 
but this week its trailers.  lol
