I just had the same problem. I picked up a used valve and ordered o-rings from Moss. I haven't installed it yet because i forgot to order some rubber grease, although I don't know how necessary it is

Sounds as though your o-rings are shot. You need to disassemble the PDWA and rebuild it with new o-rings and copper washers. All the bits are available from a good hardware store. Cheers, Vance Hi e
