Hi Andy, My TR250 is at the body shop, so I can't check it, but I'm the original owner and I don't remember anything like that. Next time I'm over there, I'll check it to be sure but I'm 99% sure not

The filler cap came of an original 250. It has a rubber plug. This is the one that Andy saw. Maybe is was for later models? I don't know. But in case of a roll over what keeps fuel out? Just the magn

Looking at both TRF andd Moss catalogs neither show a sealing plug for the 250. Like you said, maybe it's from a later TR6? Insofar as rollover spills, the 250 was probably given the same degree of
