Thanks to all that responded. Seems everybody was just using their old cable. I decided to get a single strand tr4 cable. It was a bit long and I had to cut 9" off the outer casing. I haven't hooked

Unlike the the shaft for the chokes which has a spring. There is no room for a spring on the throttle shaft. On this model they must be anchoring the spring in some other fashion.
