Has anyone come across the oversized fuel tank for the early Series Alpine? This tank looks identical to the stock one but sits about 4"-5 inches taller - preventing the spare from fitting in normall

The easiest answer is to use a single Series 1-2 tank and the saddle-bag Series 3-5 tanks in the same chassis. Scary as all get out...I'd use a fuel cell, myself. Jim Leach Pacific Tiger Club Seattl
