The paint does not need to be high temperature but it will probably be easier to find the correct colour in high temp engine enamel if you have a 75, 74's are easy because they are just black. since

make sure you check the back of the intake gasket, many leaks start there and are confused with rear main leaks, The intake is much easier to fix as well, check to make sure it is clean and dry back

Serge you will needs a 1483 AND 8011 if you are converting from 2 V to 4 V, on the 4V carb the throttle is about 2" further forward so you need the kickdown rod extension (8011) as well.
