Not that it matters who fits which engine where, the wonderful Jag straight 6 and V12 engines were around long before Ford came on the scene - Jag was part of British Leyland (scary thought) from '6

Yeap, just go to any hot rod show in Southern California and you'll see almost every Ford hot rod has a GM engine & tranny in it. I guess I'll have to "upgrade" my 99 Mustang GT Roadster's 4.6L engin

I agree. The only reason I would consider an XJ6 is to get my hands on that beautiful XK engine. No knock on the Chevy small block (I currently have two) but the Jag engine is just lovely to look at
