I highly doubt that our cars had 96HP or 125HP in reality. Like many cars of that era HP figures were highly exagerated. They may be faster than a GT6 but that's nothing to brag about. Mike on these

I read that Datsun HP ratings up through the 280z were SAE not net, so a 240z at 150hp is really more like 130hp net. Figuring at that rate my 96hp SAE 1600 was really 83hp. == Adam '70 1600 SPL311-2
