Does anyone know of an alternate source for heater and vent cables? They sure are pricey new. I tried bike cables but they were much too light weight. I appreciate any help you can offer. Will '68 2L

The inside cable is .055" music wire. I get it at my local hobby shop. It takes a little practice to make the loop on the end of some of them. I have never had a housing go bad. I just oil them up an

I had this problem last winter and there was no hope of recovering either the wires or the jackets. They were welded together. I found an answer, which I describe on my Tech Stuff page. Basically I

A good custom motorcycle shop can make them. Take your old one in for reference. Russ 67 1600
