We run a Triumph trans in our TR3 when we are allowed to run a Toyota trans. The irony of it all. I like the overdrive, but most racers don't. I have the Group 44 GT6 that I am trying to restore and

Generally the layshaft bearing goes south because it's small and not all that well supported. I've heard that there are some fixes for this, including dual bearings on the rear end of the layshaft. A
