I would imagine it was the stuff that Moss & Victoria British sell. It has a foil lined backing similar to jute but not as durable. Having said that I have used a combination of Dynamat and this mate

Why do we have to go through this every year? Putting a Texas Cooler on your car is just like installing any other part. If you do it right, follow directions, measure clearances, etc., then it works

I can second that and the recommendation for MoMa. I have been using them for years doing difficult restorations for Triumphs and Austin-Healey gauges. They do first class work and at reasonable rate
