There are a couple of wind tunnels with moving floors, the only problem is that (unless they've changed them) the floors only had a maximum capability of 150 mph while the fans could blow at 220+ mph

Interestingly, the L.A. Times pretty much has a write up whenever someone makes an accomplishment like this. I had saved a couple at one time and its also how I first heard of the USFRA. Mike in L.A.
