IMS, the drive gear for the speedo is a right-angled casting that fits onto the tranny housing. There are different gear rations for OD and for non-OD. See if you can find the gear from an OD car. --

Nope! IMS (there's that word again) the OD has, in effect, its own clutch. I have never had any problems with the OD because I didn't use the clutch. Have done a lot of 4th Over to 3rd Standard shift
