You dont have to remove the wing. Remove the bolt to the top swivil pin. Then remove the four bolts holding the shock down. Thats it!

I have installed silicone fluid in four of my MGs. It works ferfectly. This goes back 20 years. There are some tricks to set up the Master cyl. Esp. in T types and MGAs. Contact me for further info.

That is correct. use either SAE 90 or SAE 809-90. It is trickey to put in. If you have the original oil/grease gun that came with the kit, it will work. If not, Moss sells a plastic gun that works.I
