Its possible that ya just have a belt slipping. When a bearing starts screaming it *typically* doesn't stop, but a belt will stop and start depending on rpm. So ... before ya start disassembling/repl

If it is the water pump you might want to try an additive that you put in the radiator. The make one just for water pumps.Have you tried disconnecting everything to see if the squeal stops? ....Art

A test that is less messy than belt dressing is to try the same technique with Armor-all which, I have found, works better than belt dressing on a flat "serpentine" belt on my truck.

I think you're right about the belt dressing on a serpentine belt. Something is screwy with this truck. The belt chirps. It isn't slipping, but at low and medium revs it will start the noise. I have
