I don't know about the other vendors, but Bowtie Bits was supposed to be getting their fenders in without the Chevrolet emblem piercing. We of GMC would want them plain since it seems a shame to buy

I don't remember the name, but they make a product specifically for putting on the surfaces of newly rebuilt engines for the same purpose as the STP is being used for. I for one would go with that.
