The inner one has to be new to pass this test. I have also found it is a small but noticeable improvement in steering, when replacing the inners only. The outers make a much larger difference!! . . _

I always struggle getting the pin or rivet out. I know they say to shear the pin but I never liked putting all that force on stuff. I use side cutters to grab it and lever it out. . . _______________

I usually split the oil between the two. Be sure and stand the compressor on the end with the front seal pointing down for at least 30 minutes before installing. This helps lube the front seal. Also

Is the A/C clutch locked to the shaft? It should free wheel. Maybe you A/C clutch is locked up. If the clutch is good you should be able to turn the pulley with little problem. . . _________________
