I used denatured alcohol (about 1 Gal.) but if you change to DOT5 the rubber seals in the calipers,MC and rear wheel cylinders ALL have to changed out as a rebuild. The fluid dissolves them. Check ou

Fred ,that's really interesting because it has been my understanding all along that this needs done. I'll be honest and say that I didn't change to DOT5 all I did was flush the old fluid from the lin

Just to set the record straight, I opted to change all the rubber seals in my braking system after flushing it all with denatured alcohol because I simply wanted to do so as a precationary measure. M
