- You can put a Triumph 1200 in a late model Midget, The manifolds and Tranny bolt up the same. The manifolds on a MG 1200 are on the drivers side and on the passengers side on the Triumph engines. Car

- New guy here. Owner of a '59 with a tired old 1098. I have been looking at pumping up a 1275. Will a 1500 fit in a Mk 1? I've never actually looked at a 1500 to see if I can put it in the engine bay
