- I got a chance to check out my steering problems this morning. My plan was to loosen all the mounting bolts and pull the steering column away from the steering rack and reassemble it by the numbers.

- The column to pinion is not a drop on fit, it does require some Umph. Not neccessarily a hammer but maybe a shot with a 12" long hunk of wood. A few taps with a rubber mallet should do it. Did you f
