I rebuilt my last 260 completely stock(no hard seats) for little or nothing and was completely satisfied. Polished the crank and refitted new standard bearings....cut a minute ridge and honed for 64-

In addition, prior to bleeding the furthest from the master first...bleed the master cylinder first (or bench bleed); can be bench bled installed in the car.... Don't bleed on the newly painted engin

Jim and others-Set up an dial indicator and check the disc again. Re-install the rim (even torque on each lug) and check again. Do you feel the shimmy in the brake pedal as well as the steering wheel

The standard choke thermostat works grrreat if it is properly adjusted. I reccomend keeping the stock setup and working it over to work normally. Regards-Chris
