Quick question on replacing the head gasket on my 59 TR3A. Is any sealant used when reinstalling. if yes, both sides? I have removed the head and will detail later this evening. Thx, Alex Manzo 59 TR

No sealant is specifically required, however I use Edelbrock's Gaskacinch. It looks kinda like rubber cement - you lightly coat the block and head and both sides of the gasket (sealing surfaces only)
