Michael, I drove a Lada Cossack (4x4) for a day - and it seemed like a year. It was OK and not dis-similar in comfort terms to a Series 2 heavy duty Landrover going over rocks at speed. I'd forgotten

I think the Wankel Engines would of had to have been licensed by NSU. They were the ones who owned the rights that the old Mazdas were licensed from. Mazda probably bought the rights to license other

It was reported at the time that it was Wankel themselves, who existed as a separate entity, granting licences to car, snowmobile and motorcyle makers. I'm guessing that this was a successor entitiy
