The rectangular Facet pumps do make a little bit of noise, but I sure wouldn't compare them to a machine gun, unless the machine gun was in the next county. How you mount them makes a big difference

It all depends on where you mount it. I mounted mine on the engine block and I can barely hear it with the engine off. If you mount it to the frame near the tank (the preferred location) I doubt you

Hi Bruce, Mount the facet on rubber bushings to reduce noise a lot. There are mounting kits available that include all the necessary parts. Also, mount it externally, under the car, instead of in the
