First never use synthetic oil for the break in of an engine. It is too slick to let the parts develop normal wear patterns, ie. you rings won't seat. Put 10,000 miles on the engine before switching t

Can't help with rest, but this one I have personal experience with. Same thing happened to me even after hot tanking. I used a scribe and a section of solid core copper wire to carve out the fossiliz

This discussion of sediment in the TR6 engine makes a case for the wet liner 4-cylinder engine! It is really easy to get all that gunk out of the 4-cylinder block with the cylinder liners on the benc

Kastner's advice on filling cooling systems is to jack up the front of the car so the radiator cap is the highest point, and with the engine running add fluif ... this allows the air bubbles to work
