I have also found that it helps a lot to stay on the inside of the race line on the cooldown lap - keep away from the marbles which will stick to your hot tires. Take a slow cooldown lap also, so th

I saw this for the 1st time at the Dodge Vintage Festival this year at Lime Rock but did not know we were supposed to come right in as I had never heard of it before. I really don't like that procedu

Regarding build up on race tires department: Anyone get "RACER" magazine? They have a picture on page 18 - actually an ad for Mechanix gloves - that shows what looks like a 3" putty scraper hose clam
