The 74 carbs do not have a return spring on the carbs so the flexible cables won't work. I put return springs on the later carbs also so to make the solid cable work easier. Al ______________________

I haven't had that problem, but you should be able to turn the choke knob and lock it in place. But, if it happened, at least it prevents you from running around all day with the choke on. Al :) ____
