1. I see what you mean thanks. But isn't loaded radius the height of the axle above the pavement? If that's the case it seems to me that radius is what governs the effective circumfrence of the load

I don't think that pinging is the major issue with lead free gas. The newer methods that are used to raise octane still produce ping resistance (octane rating). What is missing from the new fuels is
