The fuel tank had been where it is and no problem for thirty years. Now all of the sudden change it. Doesn't make much sense to me. I would leave well enough alone.

to adjust and don't stay adjusted for long. You have to remove the two screws on the side of the carb, then adjust the float by loosening the nut and turning the screw on top of the carb until fuel

Don't even waste your time with a holley. They are fussy, picky time-wasting carbs. Go with a edlebrock or a for four-barrel. Been there done that
