I've never done it unless the block had some rust in the valley I couldn't remove. Some of those blocks even set records.

How about cavatation in the system. When I run my dyno I have a clear sight tube to watch the cooling system, yep it's mooving air too.

Bryan, I think you'll find that the JCB car ran on Goodyears at Bonneville. So I gess they must be go to at least 363 MPH on a liner. See we did learn something from them :) Mike
