All SIII's should have had a booster. If it's been taken off, and the M/C not replaced, you're likely to have an unpleasantly hard peadal, as the bore should be smaller for the non-boosted set-up. J

Unless you're a purist, I'd stick with the later subframe assembly. The more modern ball joint type is much easier to repair and maintain, and less likely to have problems in the first place. Julian
