You can get a recromed grill from TUCKER'S classic truck parts in Las Vegas, Nevada. They run about 800 I think but that comes with a lifetime gaurenty on the chroming. They don't have a web site and

I don't know where this came from, But I posted my own Quest for info on a 292. I wasn't replying to any other truck postings. My numbers that I finely found were 3994258, this works up to be a 67-72

This process is called thermal spray and yes it is very affective on rusted out panels and such, I have been looking at buying a system, but so far the best price for every thing is around 15,000. I
