On my 51, I found it pretty easy to paint them by hand...the natural ridges kept it pretty straight...I did mine in black...worst that'll happen is that you might have to clean it off...no biggie Dav

Smokey...I was having the same problem with my 261...I installed a 6 blade, but I also installed an electric fan...when I'm in stop and go traffic, I flip the switch and it cools it down pretty good.

Grant, I did this same thing, using Rochesters...I left the choke attached on the rear carb and removed the flap on the front carb..I have had no problems during warm up periods...seems to work fine.

Steven, If you're interested, I have a resevoir for sale...I put it in my truck 2 years ago..worked well..I've since put an electric motor in.......I bought the resevoir at a parts house for $45.00.
