Stefaan, Rather than using brass for bushing carbs, consider using bush made from teflon. Used to do this on racing carbs, better seal, smoother action, lasts forever with no wear on std. dia. shafts

I have been using Redline 75-140 NS gear lube in the TC gearbox of my Lester/Climax with good results. Among other things it has improved the shifting action under race conditions. I plan to run it
